We will be hosting our only PTO Fundraiser of the school year on Friday, October 7th. This will be a FUN RUN that will take place during your student’s special areas block of time. More details to come, but please be on the look out for information coming home in approximately two weeks!

Does your child love to dance? Support the PTO by enjoying a fun day of dance! Students will participate in a dance class taught by Master Faculty at Project C Studios. At the end of the day there will be a performance for the family!

The holidays are getting closer! As a special service to our families, the RME PTO is hosting a Holiday Gift Shop. Children will have the opportunity to pick out their own inexpensive, quality gifts for family and friends. 85% of the items available for children to purchase will be under $5.00. A Holiday Shop flyer and budget envelope will be sent home in your student’s folder this week!
A Holiday Shop PREVIEW will be held during school hours on Tuesday, Dec 3th, and Wednesday, Dec 4th. On these days the children will come with their class and walk through the Holiday Shop. They will have an opportunity to look and write down ideas.
The Holiday Shop will open for purchases on Wednesday night, Dec. 4th, from 5:30pm – 8:00pm, during RME Family Financial Night.
On Thursday Dec. 6 and Friday Dec. 7, during school hours, students who have brought money will have an opportunity to shop with their class or during recess. Holiday Shop money must be brought to school in the budget envelope provided. The PTO needs volunteers to make this big event a success! Volunteers will help children choose gifts and work within their budgets. Seeing the children’s delight in choosing special gifts makes this such a fun event. We’re looking for Holiday Helpers during the day and evening (including High School volunteers). Helpers during the school day must have CCPS volunteer training completed. Last week your student should have brought home a sales packet for Yankee Candle. This is the BIGGEST fundraiser for PTO this year and we need your help in making it a success! Our goal is to raise $3000 for our school! Money raised will go toward fun activities for our students, field trips, assemblies, recess equipment, dinners for teachers on conference nights, and teacher appreciation week, just to name a few.
Paper order forms are due back to school on November 6. Checks should be made out to Robert Moton PTO. Online orders can be placed through January 8 via www.yankeecandlefundraising.com. Be sure to use our group number (999979426) and include your student’s name so he or she can earn prizes! Taxes do not need to be charged. Delivery requires 2-4 weeks, so make sure you allow enough time for delivery when ordering online for Christmas presents.
If you prefer not to participate in the fundraiser, donations can be made via the PayPal link below or by check made out to Robert Moton PTO.
